We have a winner: Brooklyn's Vassili Shishkin -- of Paperbikes and motovlogging fame -- topped our holiday draw for a bespoke East Coast Koverz motorcycle cover. Vassili, who rides a Ducati Monster, correctly answered our skill-testing question:
What famous US landmark did eck owners Christina LeGuillow and Chris Komishock travel to, to test their new cover?
Devil’s Tower in Wyoming
To celebrate the unveiling of their new motorcycle cover, East Coast Koverz' owners Christina LeGuillow and Chris Komishock gifted us one bespoke offering to give away during the 2020 holiday season. The new eck product can be produced in a variety of colors, with the added value of an embroidered logo of your choice gracing the front. All creative artwork must be submitted to eck in JPEG format.
Constructed from nylon and stitched together with waterproof and mildew resistant thread, the cover is waterproof and UV resistant, and features thick elastic straps to carry the backpack it self-stores in, as well as reflective accents and a four-point toggle lock and cord system to cinch the front, rear and sides. The patented backpack is sewn into the inside rear section of the cover and also provides a pocket for storing small belongings like wallets, phones, or keys.
While the company has now moved into the production stage, the eck cover will not be publicly available for purchase until this Spring, when you'll be able to buy it at local moto retailers and online through social media. You can find eck on Instagram @ecknycmotorsports. And don't forget to read our recent feature on the New Jersey-based company.
The bespoke cover, a prize worth more than $200, will feature Vassili's choice of up to three colors (from red, navy, green, yellow, purple, black, and white) for fabrication. After he lists his selections in order of prevalence, eck will create a color combination that fits the blueprint of the cover. Also included in the prize was an embroidered patch on the front available as a 3x3, 4x4, 5x5 or 5x7 selection.
Thank you to all who entered ... and ride safe out there.
